Heroes Manga took place on April 22nd and 23rd of 2017. It was a great opportunity to get to know Spanish artists, like María Latorre and Jesús Humanes, along with the latest news on the genre.
First, fans

Tezuka, 1986) and Final Fantasy X, Distant Worlds, (franchise created by
Hironobu Sakaguchi, 1987), in a live concert.
Second, they ate and loved Japanese cuisine, especially traditional desserts! Next exhibitions were on display with traditional kimonos and other features from Japanese culture like the courses offered in Casa Asia situated in Madrid and Barcelona.

Moving on,
professional cosplayers participated in the event dress up as classic characters
and new ones. It was interesting to see that the new generations adore classics
like Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon (Naoko Takeuchi, 1991) or Dragon Ball (Akira Toriyama, 1984). Even lots of selfies were made with the original Doraemon
statues! (Fujiko F. Fujio, 1969)
Finally,
similarly to Expocómic 16, Heroes Manga also included for the entire day
exhibitions of traditional Japanese and Asian martial arts along with a
sections to try out the latest videogames on the market.
In the end,
Heroes Manga served to introduce people to manga and local artists along with
giving back to older fans an insight to the past of the golden era of the
genre!
