Alien Day Live Review

April 26 celebrates Alien’s Day chosen to remember LV-426, the planet’s name from Alien films.

The Live started with a presentation of American and foreign artists contest and the use of Oculus VR using H. R. Giger’s drawings. Then, the host asked to the main actors the questions from Twitter: First time seeing Alien (1979), opinion about working with Director Ridley Scott, actors’ work during the creation of the movie from personal experiences performing the role (what fans expect from Katherine Waterston as Daniels in comparison to Ripley performed by Sigourney Weaver, workout to achieve characters’ physical appearance) to overall experience in the settings which were like a playground for them.

Next it was mentioned the contest called Alien Escape organized by Madame Tussauds in London and fans enjoyed seeing some of the film sets. Finally, it was announced the winner for Ultimate Alien Fan Art Contest (Jacob Kuddes) along with the artists invited to the Live.

In the end, Director Ridley Scott presented to the fans The Crossing, which is a prologue giving an insight to the continuation of Prometheus (2012, Dir. Ridley Scott).

We are looking forward to see Alien Covenant!
